Summer Student Blog 2020

Hi Everyone, it’s Heather and Mia! Welcome to our new 2020 Summer Student Blog. We are excited to be back for another summer at O’Hara and while we are unable to welcome you in person for the time being, we are looking forward to bringing O’Hara content to you at home! Starting July 1st our Summer Student Blog will feature daily content Wednesdays-Sundays. Each day will have a different theme, with fun for the whole family!

Wednesdays - What is it Wednesdays (Find out some interesting facts about tools and artifacts found on the Homestead)

Thursdays - Throwback Thursdays (Learn about the O’Hara family history)

Fridays - Demo Days (Watch demonstrations of different aspects of life on the Homestead)

Saturdays - For the Kids (A wide variety of activities for the kids including make-your-own activities)

Sundays - Sunny Sundays in the Garden (Learn about the many different historical uses for the herbs and vegetables grown in our very own heritage gardens)

We are looking forward to bringing O’Hara to you at home and encourage you to come by for a walk on the trails and grounds, as they are still open to enjoy!
